Inspiration and Flow

As we delve into the facets of this gem titled Work In Progress (WIP), the understanding of the inspiration behind its identity is of utmost importance.

Taken from the accounts field, the name is a term known to refer to the total value of the materials and labour for projects still being developed.

That's it right there, refinement is still underway but value is still very much present. Just because something has not reached the final stage in the production line does not in any way mean that it's off less importance.

It is still accounted for and as human beings we ought to be conscious of this truth, for oftentimes we disregard our worth as in our minds we have not reached par excellence. We become married to the image of "what it could be," leaving "what it is," to rot.

We aren't attacking expectations but rather challenging the concept of progression against perfection.

True to the nature of its diversity and adventurous spirit,WIP will analyse the truths of"becoming" through the lens of different production processes.

Making use of the world of fashion to the world of car assembling, we will explore the concepts uniquely.

In all this, our focus will be on our emotional, mental and spiritual health and not so much on the finer details of what it takes to develop the physical things we love and see.

We've done our car checks and now the engine starts as we take the journey to building strength in the process. Buckle Up!
